Falcon Football Parent Support Group -- Thursday Night Family/Team Dinners - Contact swhsfootball1@gmail.com

Falcon Team Dinners have been a Thursday Night, before game day, tradition at South Whidbey for many years. These dinners feed the team before game day and create community between the coaches, players and family members. Families are encouraged to attend and eat a meal together with the team. We need your help! Whether to cook, set up, bring side dishes, serve or clean up, we need your help to make these dinners possible. Please email swhsfootball1@gmail.com for more information. SUMMER CONDITIONING
Cross Country meets at the track daily Monday through Friday from 9am-11am for conditioning from the last day of school until July 31st.

Falcon Girls Soccer

Important Team Information

Dear Players and Families:

I can't believe we are ready to start another soccer season.  This time of the year is always exciting for players, coaches and family members anticipating the opening season game.  That day will come soon (September 9th), but first we have some hard, but fun work ahead of us preparing for our season. 

As I mentioned in my early June email, our high school soccer assessment (tryout) period starts on Monday, August 25th through Friday, September 5th.  Assessment practices during the 1st week (Aug. 25th-29th) will run from 9:45 am - 12:00 pm. 

After school starts assessment practice and regular practices will run from 3:30 - 5:45 pm.  We hope to continue our weekly yoga sessions with Marcie Costello on Fridays, as well as reviewing game film prior to yoga.   

Registration is currently open for grades 8-12 to play Falcon Girls Soccer this season.  We look forward to seeing those 8th grade players interested in playing with the high school team at the upcoming assessment training sessions and know that your level of participation within our program will be based on your skill-level and physical readiness! 

Coach Anne and I will go over our coaching philosophies, team logistics/operation and the details of our season at our parent meeting coinciding with the AD's PAC meeting on Thursday, August 28th (5:30 - 6:30 pm).  Anne and I will look forward to seeing the players on Monday August 25th at 9:45 am.  Players must attend 7 practices prior to being eligible to play in jamborees or regular season games.
